The Social Employers adopt their 2025 Annual Activity Report
The Social Employers have adopted their 2025 Annual Activity Report, highlighting progress made in strengthening employers’ organisations, promoting social dialogue and advancing cooperation between employers and trade unions in the social services sector.
A key milestone was the joint signing of the Framework of Actions on Retention and Recruitment in Social Services with EPSU. The Framework is the first major outcome of the European Sectoral Social Dialogue Committee for Social Services, setting out shared actions to help address workforce shortages and improve staff retention across the sector.
Throughout the year, the Social Employers also advanced work on improving working conditions, strengthening skills and training, as well as supporting social dialogue and capacity building for employers’ organisations, through several EU-funded projects. In addition, the Federation contributed to several EU policy initiatives, including the Quality Jobs Roadmap and the Action Plan for the Implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights.
By the end of 2025, the Social Employers had 34 member organisations across 20 European countries.
